When I first heard Shekinah Sound at the flowerpot club, Derby I was convinced of the need for such a ministry as this,  for it brought the church to the streets in a non-compromising way (Jesus the same, yesterday, today and forever more).

People heard the gospel message coming to them on contemporary beats such as, Reggae, Ragga, and Hip-hop.  I was impressed and thus I started moving closely with the sound, assuming many different roles, from doorman to van driver and video man. I am the selector as well as sound engineer.

Having a lot of history with sound systems from my time in the world, playing sounds as well as working in a record shop, Reggae music was and is a big part in my life; however when I got saved back in 87, I thought it was all over and I assumed that the hand clapping, tambourine and mild RnB beats was the acceptable medium for gospel Music.

What I now know is that Reggae has its place in the Kingdom of God and in what we are doing as promoters, producers and speakers of God's word. Every believer has a testimony, which in itself is a sermon of the power of God's words to change your life, and we, the Shekinah Crew are all like-minded Christians who believe in what we do and the way we do it.

We have been tried and tested in many different ways and have seen the fruit of our labour as we have steadfastly held on to the hand of Him who created the heaven and the earth, the Lord Jesus Christ.

We have seen many souls come to accept Christ as their personal Saviour in Dancehalls up and down the country and so I know that what I am doing with Shekinah Ministries is God's will for me at this time in my life

Romans 8 (38): 'For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, (39) Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the Love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord'.
